Our room service were we offer our national and international drinks as well, with out forgetting our delicious dishes.

Santiagomillas

It is one of the more tradional towns of the ¨Maragateria¨ , the place is located at the southeast of Astorga, a dozen of kilometers, it's a very Romanized zone that until the end of the last century a notable economic activity, in the XX century has suffered very important issues of depulation, but in these years it has recovered it's national patrimony.

Santiagomillas, divided into two nierborhoods from approximately one kilometer of distance, was a very notable carrier plaza, it means that transporters that carried in their cars the Galicia products and the Cantabrico coast to Madrid and the capitals of Castilla, Leon and Extremadura; basically operating in the borderline of Madrid and La Coruña , and other places direct to Asturias, the Ebro valley and Via de la Plata.

In middle of a dry landscape, Santiagomillas conserves houses of interesting popular architecture . The famous one is the one Built By Santiago Alonso Cordero in the XIX century, character that dressed in the Maragato usage in the Madrid of Isabel II.

Durante su estadía, usted podrá visitar nuestro restaurante “Santiagomillas”. Le ofrecemos una gran variedad de platos típicos e internacionales, con servicio,  acogedor y confortable que lo hará sentir como en supropio hogar. Así mismo servicio a la habitación  en el que podrá ordenar bebidas nacionales e internacionales y prácticos y deliciosos platillos.

Santiagomillas

Se trata de uno de los pueblos más tradicionales de La Maragatería , el lugar está situado al suroeste de Astorga, a una decena de kilómetros, en una zona muy romanizada que tuvo hasta finales del siglo pasado una notable actividad económica. En el siglo XX ha pasado por graves momentos de despoblación, aunque en los últimos años se ha revalorizado su patrimonio tradicional.

Santiagomillas, dividido en dos barrios distantes algo más de un kilómetro, fue una notable plaza arriera, es decir de transportistas que llevaban en sus carros y recuas los productos de Galicia y la costa del Cantábrico hacia Madrid y las capitales de Castilla, León y Extremadura; operando básicamente en la línea que une Madrid y La Coruña , y otros ramales dirigidos hacia Asturias, el valle del Ebro y la Vía de la Plata.

En medio de un paisaje más bien árido, Santiagomillas conserva numerosas casas de interesante arquitectura popular . La más famosa es la que construyó en el siglo XIX Santiago Alonso Cordero , personaje que se vestía a la usanza maragata en el Madrid de Isabel II.
